Post Malone Apes Into The Bored Ape Yacht Club, According To MoonPay TikTok

The rumors regarding Post Malone’s membership in the Bored Ape Yacht Club were confirmed today after a TikTok video made its way through the club.

Moonpay, a financial technology company that builds payment infrastructure for crypto, posted a video of the rapper purchasing Bored Ape #961 on its TikTok earlier today.

Bored Ape #961 is a six trait zombie fur ape with a cowboy hat and a bored cigarette mouth. Malone purchased Bored Ape #961 for 75 Eth.

While the TikTok video was just released today, Malone purchased Bored Ape #961 over two weeks ago on October 29th, according to Opensea.

“My friends are going to freak out,” Malone said in the video. “Crypto all the NFTs they know shit.”

Bored Ape #961 isn’t the rappers only ape, he purchased Bored Ape #9039 on Halloween for 85 Eth. Bored Ape #9039 is a six trait dark brown fur ape with a diamond grill grin, cowboy hat and rainbow suspenders.

Moonpay has been working hard to onboard celebrities into the BAYC and the NFT community at large. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the company recently helped Lil Baby and Jimmy Fallon join the club.
