PRIMATES IN THE PIPELINE: Yuga Labs CEO Garga Says Mutant Apes Will Be Coming To Otherside "Soon" And That They Are "Truly Insane."

3D modeled Mutant Apes will be making their way to the Otherside soon, as Yuga Labs CEO Garga revealed that the primates are “in the pipeline!”

As Bored Apes, Kodas, Meebits, and now Geez stomp around the swamp in their 3D-modeled avatars, Garga gave the nearly 20,000 Mutant Apes an update during this week’s Otherside Q&A, assuring everyone that they’re coming soon and that they’ll be insane.

“MAYC 3D models in the pipeline, coming soon,” he said. “We are using Rida’s models which we funded as the base and doing some further tune-ups to them. Mutants are truly insane. Hardest collection to 3D for obvious reasons.”

Back in March, BAYC member Rida’s Inceptive Studio added Mutant Apes to its user-generated content platform, giving everyone the tools to create Mutant memes and insane 3D art with no technical skills required!

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Garga first announced that Mutant Ape 3D models would be launching in phases during a January podcast with BAYC member VeraTheApe. At the time, he explained that the Mutant models are insanely detailed and would arrive sometime after the launch of the persistent world this summer. 

“Its a lot more technical,” Garga told BAYC member VeraTheApe during an interview in January. “People’s 3D modeled Apes and Mutants are generated trait by trait atop one another. Its a lot more technical and it requires a level of precision and artistry in how we make our 3D models.”

 

While Mutant Apes wait to explore the metaverse at their primates, they are invited to play around as the Mutant version of Curtis known as Murtis tonight!
