Proof of Humanity Protocol. Proof of Ape. All powered by Mastercard!

In the real world, when people want loans, they show lenders credit scores, pay stubs, and other documents to prove they can pay back what they borrow. But in the pseudonymous world of crypto, those traditional checks don’t translate, until now. Mastercard and Humanity Protocol are working to bring real world financial verification trustlessly onchain, using zero knowledge proofs to protect privacy, and ApeCoin is coming along for the ride!
Things were anything but boring around the swamp on Wednesday after ApeCoin announced that it will serve as one of the first institutional verifiers on Humanity Protocol, alongside Mastercard. This system lets users prove things like income or creditworthiness without revealing any details onchain.
“ApeCo will join Mastercard as one of the first institutional verifiers on Humanity Protocol,” ApeCoin tweeted. “Together, we’re enabling privacy features that let you verify your qualifications without telling everyone your business. Congrats to @Humanityprot on this milestone partnership.”
The Humanity Protocol’s Human ID and Mastercard’s open finance will work together to allow users to privately verify financial credentials using zero knowledge proofs. This means Lenders and dApps can confirm a user qualifies without knowing who the user is. This system could also reduce the need for KYC forms that everyone in crypto hates.
“This partnership expands the real-world utility of Humanity Protocol’s Human ID, making it compatible with both traditional financial institutions and decentralized platforms,” the Humanity Procol explains. “It also opens the door to financial access for the underserved or those who might avoid applications due to the intrusive nature of existing KYC and credit checks.”

“Because verifying income, identity, or asset ownership shouldn’t feel like filing taxes,” ApeCoin’s Lost tweeted. “ApeCo x @Humanityprot x @Mastercard At this rate, maybe we’ll get an ATM in Otherside next.”
While everyone waits on that Otherside ATM, we do know that by working with Mastercard and the Humanity Protocol, ApeChain will become sybil resistant, protecting builders from spam bots, and introduce a proof of humanity to the whole ecosystem, opening a world of new possibilities for $Ape
“With ApeChain as a zkProofer, developers on both Humanity Protocol and ApeChain can now build without limits,” Humanity Protocol wrote. “Whether it's creating DAOs that truly represent their communities, enabling NFT experiences tied to real human identities, or pioneering privacy-first DeFi solutions, the integration of Humanity Protocol’s identity layer changes the game. This integration is a fundamental shift that brings the digital and physical worlds closer together, setting a new standard for trust and utility in Web3.”

"TLDR: Now when you go apply for crypto loans or need a better rate to rent a digital asset, you don't have to provide any documents,” Apechain builder KingPickle tweeted. “ Mastercard's open network provides info like your cashflow and income seamlessly. This is going to attract some HUGE lenders to our space.”
