PROOF OF APE: Apes will Be Able To Verify That They Are Bored Ape Yacht Club Members On ApeChain, According To Horizen Labs

Bored Ape Yacht Club members will be able to verify that they are, in fact, members of the Bored Ape Yacht Club on ApeChain without having to move or migrate their Apes, according to Horizen Labs’ VP of Ecosystem Growth, Blockchainzilla.

After Yuga Labs’ CEO Garga called ApeChain ‘the best thing to happen to ApeCoin maybe ever’ last weekend, Horizen Labs’ Blockchainzilla confirmed that BAYC and MAYC members will be able to verify ownership of their Apes on ApeChain without having to move their NFTs.

“The short answer is yes, there'll be (potentially multiple) ways to prove ownership of your BAYC on Ethereum on ApeChain,” Blockchainzilla recently tweeted. “Most likely is through a cutting edge "mirrored asset" / "proof of storage" type system. Working out the details w/ a rad team doing this work and excited to talk more about it soon. Soon as final details are locked in will get them on a Spaces to talk about it. This has been a big priority btw, my opinion is that it's important to be able to use Apes and Mutants on ApeChain but asking folks to move/migrate those particular assets over is definitely out of bounds. Migration makes more sense for other types of assets/collections (and there will be paths for that, study ONFTs!) but think it's important for BAYC/MAYC themselves to remain on Ethereum for a number of reasons.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the ApeCoin DAO’s ApeChain is set to launch as part of Arbitrum’s Orbit chains in either late June or early July, with the goal of making ApeChain the go-to place in the Arbitrum ecosystem.

“The vision is for ApeChain to be the biggest of the Orbit Chains,” Blockchainzilla said on a May 17th ApeCoin Space. “To be the most important of the Orbit Chains. And to be the center of it and have that opportunity.  You look over on the OP side and there is so much great stuff happening on Optimism, but then you look at Base, which is the most important of the other super chains that are on OP mainnet. To me I want Apechain to be like that within the Arbitrum Orbit ecosystem. Ya Apechain is an L3 but it should be thought of as one of the best chains out there, one of the most popular chains out there, and one of the easiest to on and offboard and have all that stuff. But we also want to be a good community member within the Orbit ecosystem. We want to be involved in the Orbit ecosystem. We want to be working on interoperability. We want to be working on things where we are doing things with others. To me this isn’t alpha, but if you were to ask me where all the NFT activity is happening, I’d say it’s in the Arbitrum ecosystem. There is a reason that as Apes we picked Arbitrum. There’s a reason that Azuki is there. The stuff that Treasure is doing and that Smols are doing and all that kind of stuff. That’s where the NFT activity is happening. An yeah, we want to be at the center of it.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow ApeChain and will let you know more about verifying an NFT on Apechain when more information becomes available. Stay tuned for updates!

I read the article “Nox vs BlueStacks: Which Android Emulator Is Better?” and now I advise everyone to pay attention to these emulators. Nox impressed with its lightness and stability, making it a great choice for games and simple apps. BlueStacks https://kimlisoft.com/nox-vs-bluestacks/, on the other hand, is more powerful and versatile, supporting many apps and games, making it ideal for heavy use. Choose Nox for light tasks and BlueStacks for more complex tasks. Both emulators are worth your attention!
