From $Ape's a coin to $Ape that works!

On Saturday, ApeCoin Product Lead Ryan Smith unveiled Ape Works, a new platform he personally designed as an experiment to transform ApeChain from a place where people simply hold ApeCoin into an onchain economy where they can earn it, spend it, fund ideas, and reward contributors!
“Today, we’re introducing APE Works; a new platform designed to turn APE from an asset communities hold into an asset they use to fund work, reward contributors, purchase services, and grow the ecosystem,” he wrote. “The Ape ecosystem already has capital, talent, ideas, brands, builders, artists, operators, and one of the most recognizable currencies in Web3. What it has lacked is a simple operating layer connecting them.”
“Ape Works is a policy-controlled operating system that helps communities put their APE to work by funding missions, managing AI agents, paying contributors, and making every action transparent and auditable,” Smith said.
Whether it's designing artwork, writing code, creating content, or completing community initiatives, Ape Works lets anyone post jobs called "Missions" and reward contributors in $Ape for completing them.
Tonight, anyone and everyone can check out the live Ape Works demo and join the waitlist to begin participating in the ecosystem here:: https://apeworks.team

“The long-term vision is a programmable coordination layer for the APE ecosystem: communities publish goals, contributors and agents execute the work, policies control spending, and successful participation builds an onchain reputation,” Smith said. “If it works, APE becomes more than an asset people hold—it becomes the currency of an economy people actively build together.”
