Q&A: This Ape Improvement Proposal Aims To Create The "Ultimate Guide" For The ApeCoin DAO
The ApeCoin DAO is voting on an Ape Improvement Proposal this week that aims to educate the masses on all things $Ape!
AIP-251 titled “ApeCoin DAO 101: The Ultimate Guide For ApeCoin DAO Newcomers,” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by ApeCoin DAO contributor BojangleGuy.
“The first impression of the DAO is a critical factor in attracting and retaining top talent and builders in the Web3 space,” BojangleGuy wrote in his proposal. “Currently, the lack of organized and clear onboarding materials undermines the potential of the DAO and fails to showcase the opportunities available to its members. By improving the onboarding experience, the DAO can project a more professional and organized image, demonstrate its value proposition more effectively, and allow new members to become active members from day one.”
In AIP-251, BojangleGuy proposed the creation of the ultimate guide For ApeCoin DAO newcomers as a way to fix this information issue.

1.In a sentence or two can you sum up your AIP?
"AIP-251 proposes the development of a dynamic and comprehensive onboarding guide for new and potential members of the DAO. The guide will provide a centralized source of information on the DAO’s operations, processes, and systems, making it easier for new members to navigate and engage with the DAO.”
2. When and how did you come up with the idea for an ApeCoin guide?
“I have been thinking about this since I first joined the DAO and went through the "onboarding" or lack there of process myself.”
3. Why are you the right person to make this guide?
“The goal is for this guide to be built by the entire community. I will just be the one managing and organizing everything we build together. This won't be a one-man band doing everything without the community!”
4. What are the top three things you hope to highlight in the guide and why?
“Who, How, Why? Who can take part in the DAO. How they can take part in the DAO. And why they should take part in the DAO.”
5. How do you plan to get newcomers to find/ read this guide?
“This guide will be linked on http://apecoin.com as well as discord and discourse.”
6. What does success look like for AIP-251?
“If we can get people onboarded and participating on day one of them joining the DAO I will be extremely happy and feel like this was a huge success.”
7. Do you have anything else you’d like to add?
“I just want to thank the entire $Ape community and all their support and encouragement on this. We have an amazing community and this should help us bring in more amazing members!"
The window to vote on AIP-251 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until June 14th at 9 p.m. EST to cast their coins.
