Rapper Snoop Dogg Aped Into The Bored Ape Yacht Club

Snoop Dogg joining the Bored Ape Yacht Club Ain’t nuthin but a G thang.

The legendary rapper tweeted out a photo of his pimp coat wearing cheetah fur ape, its’ corresponding mutants and a matching Bored Ape Kennel Club dog Tuesday afternoon.

“When I APE in I APE all the way in,” Snoop Dogg tweeted.

Snoop Dogg’s Bored Ape is Bored Ape #6723. Bored Ape #6723 and its corresponding mutants are six trait cheetah fur apes wearing pimp coats and Vietnam eta helmets while smoking cigars. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #6723 is the 1794th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, On December 7th, BAYC member Jimmy.Eth sold Bored Ape #6723, the primates corresponding M1 and M2 Mutant Apes along with Bored Ape Kennel Club Dog #894 to Moonpay for 85 eth.

After Snoop Dogg’s tweet, BAYC members were quick to welcome him to the club.

Snoop don’t play, BAYC member Andrew Rosener tweeted. “Aped in like a boss! #PimpGang #BAYC #ApeIn Welcome @SnoopDogg!”

Since joining the BAYC, Snoop Dogg has updated his Twitter Profile Photo to his Bored Ape.

Snoop Dogg is just the latest high profile name to join the BAYC thanks to crypto company MoonPay. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, MoonPay has onboarded Lil Baby, Post Malone, DJ Khaled, and Jimmy Fallon into the club.

MoonPay still has seven Bored Apes, one Mutant Ape and an M1 and M2 serum in its wallet, according to Opensea data.
