READY. SET. RIP!: BAYC Member Dim's Pack Ripping Platform, DECK-0, Launches Tomorrow With A MONKEE Mint And Everyone Is Invited To Ape In!

Every Degen knows how it feels to open a pack of Pokémon or baseball cards. The anticipation of what’s to come, slow rolling the reveals, hitting a chase card, or getting absolutely skunked. All those feelings and more are what Dim.eth and his team are looking to bring onchain with the launch of their new DECK-0 dApp and everyone’s invited to mint their inaugural MONKEES packs tomorrow!

From degen mints to blind box phygital card pulls, there are plenty of ways to scratch that pack ripping itch onchain. But nothing quite did it for Dim, so he decided to build DECK-0 alongside his friends Olmost69, Tawerillo, and SignorCrypto.

“The idea was to bring the excitement of opening card packs onchain. We are NFT people, and we wanted to create a platform for publishers to easily create and distribute NFT native collections,” he said. “From buying packs to opening them to creating a guild with your friends to climb the leaderboard and unlock rewards the whole experience is centered around collecting. It's by collectors for collectors.”

 

After months of building out DECK-0, the platform is ready to launch, starting on ApeChain before expanding multichain, and its debut card set will be all MONKEE business!

 

“The first supported blockchain being ApeChain it felt just right to bring the first blue chip that came out of it on DECK-0. The Monkees founders are not doxxed and don't want to be know, it's also extremely hard to get in touch with them,” Dim said. “I just tried my luck presenting them DECK-0 and they loved the idea. They came up with an incredible collection that people will love!”

DECK-0’s MONKEES card mint is slated for 8 P.M. CET or  3 P.M. EST tomorrow. Each pack will cost $5 USD and contain five cards with rarities ranging from common to legendary. Most importantly, Dim and his team say they’ve worked hard to make ripping a pack on DECK-0 give that same special feeling collectors get IRL.

“We spent a lot of time and iterated a lot on the pack ripping experience to make it extra satisfying for users. It's also great for streaming. There is a badge system on your profile and tons of cool stuff to unlock like exclusive banners, pfps, cards etc. Over the next few weeks we will activate more features and updates.
