RELAY FOR RILLAZ: The Rillaz Kick Off $25K Fundraiser To Build Otherside Ready 3D Models

Relay For Rillaz! Web3Gatsby and KidGuri are keeping it Rillaz with their community this week as they look to raise $25,000 USD to bring their pixelated primates to the Otherside in their full 3D glory!

As the Otherside continues welcoming more friends from across the Web3 world, ApeChain’s Rillaz are hoping to break on through soon as well. But they’ll need the community’s help to make it happen.

On Wednesday, the founder duo announced that they’re looking to raise $25K to have their gorillas modeled by none other than Rida and his Inceptive Studio, which has built 3D models for Yuga Labs, GeezOnApe, and more.

 

“what’s happening is sort of like a Web3 kickstarter fundraiser,” Web3Gatsby said. "We have partnered with @InceptiveStudio for a locked in price to raise and if goal is met make the full collections of RILLAZ and RILLAZ DEPIX in 3D.. People can help either by contributing some $ape or helping share the pinned thread post about it on the RILLAZ account. If funding goal isn’t met in 4 months then all funds are given back to donating wallets and venture will be paused until we find other means to make it possible.”

 

Every dollar raised in this campaign will go directly toward paying Inceptive Studio for its work.

As of tonight, the Rillaz have raised over $12,000 USD, with a generous $10,000 donated by Inceptive Studios itself to kick things off, and they remain confident they’ll hit their $25K goal.

 

Looking ahead, holders who donate will receive a free 3D avatar of their Rillaz for every 20 $Ape contributed. Those who choose not to donate will still be able to purchase a 3D model of their Rillaz at a later date.

Web3Gatsby added that he hopes this fundraiser model can become a blueprint for other projects that want to grow alongside their communities.

 

“Why everyone should throw in a few $APE,” he said.  “To support an initiative that could set an example of alternative community-led funding strategies outside of private funding or unnecessary dilution, getting the first native pixel art collection on ApeChain into the Otherside, open up new dimension of opportunities for holders and the RILLAZ brand involving UGC, collectibles, game skins, etc and to keep it RILLA hehe”
