SAY LESS!: Onchain Artist Ripe Launches New Generative Art Project That Gets More Complex Over Time Using TokenWorks’ Strategy Coin Tech

A first of its kind generative art project just launched in the TokenWorks ecosystem and it gets more complex over time, and Web3 collectively said, “say less” and aped in!
On Sunday, onchain digital artist Ripe launched “less,” a new collection that invites everyone to mint NFTs whenever its underlying recursive strategy token, $LESS, is burned.
"less" a generative collection fueled by a @token_works recursive token supply goes down art comes out,” Ripe wrote. “less" is about recursion as compression value folding into itself. Imagine a sheet of paper fold it. fold it again. keep folding. each fold leaves a crease when creases collide they imprint the surface "less" is created from those compression points.”
Simply put, like other TokenWorks recursive tokens, Ripe’s $LESS accumulates trading fees and uses them to buy back and burn supply. Those burns trigger mint windows for the project’s NFTs. Additionally, 20% of mint fees are used to buy and burn more $LESS, creating a new kind of flywheel.
“20% of LESS mint fees are used to buy + burn the $LESS recursive token that buy adds to the fees earned by the recursive token, which then gets used to buy + burn itself when a new mint window is opened via LESS nft mints,” Ripe wrote.
While this might sound confusing at first, Ripe is experimenting with TokenWorks’ underlying strategy coin tech that’s been trending on the timeline for months, creating art that reflects the buy and burn mechanics with earlier mints are cleaner, while later ones become more distorted and complex.
