SEQUENCE SUCCESS: Game Developers Can Now Use Sequence's 'Ape Builder' Tool Suite To Make Games On ApeChain!

Building games on ApeChain just got a whole lot easier after the ApeCoin DAO announced that Sequence’s ‘Plug-and-play builder apps’ are now available on the Curtis Testnet!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the ApeCoin community passed Sequence’s Ape Improvement Proposal, AIP-418, titled "APE Builder Developed by Sequence,” in May 2024.

With this proposal, Sequence agreed to build an easy-to-use stack of tools to build on ApeChain for free in exchange for the right to call its platform ‘Ape Builder,’ use the DAO’s logos, and use ApeCoin’s mascot ApeKin.

This was a crucial step in enabling developers to build the BEST games & experiences on ApeChain With ApeChain’s community & leaders recognizing the need for comprehensive developer tools, they've entrusted Sequence to provide the technology for seamless onboarding, monetization, retention, and ultimate success.”

 

As ApeChain’s mainnet launch approaches, the $APE community can expect many more testnet and mainnet announcements, according to Horizen Labs VP of Ecosystem Growth and the ApeCoin DAO’s Banana Bill Program Strategic Account Manager, Blockchainzilla.

“There is stuff that’s coming on in the next few weeks,” Blockchainzilla told the Gazette during last week’s Bored Ape Gazette live Space. “The two major Dexs who are going to be on ApeChain will be there, note I said two. Some of the things that have been passed (by the DAO) already are getting on there. I know Koko is hard at work on Ape Express. Some of the gameplay in various forms is getting on there as well. There will start to be things that you can do as a user over the next couple of weeks.”
