Serena Williams' Tennis Coach Patrick Mouratoglou Joined The Bored Ape Yacht Club
Less than a month after Serena Williams joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club, her tennis coach aped in!
Patrick Mouratoglou, who’s been Williams’ coach since 2012, announced that he joined the BAYC earlier today.
“I aced an Ape,” Mouratoglou tweeted along with a photo of his bored ape. “Cannot resist any longer to join the @boredapeYC. #BoredApeYC @serena @frenchbayc.”
Mouratoglou’s bored ape is Bored Ape #8181. Bored Ape #8181 is a six-trait cream fur ape with a black BAYC t shirt, an army hat and a bored kazoo mouth. Based on these traits, Mouratoglou’s bored ape is the 2616th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

Mouratoglou purchased his bored ape through Woorton, the “leading digital asset liquidity provider in Europe,” for 139.69 Eth, according to Opensea data.
Mouratoglou joining the BAYC comes less than a month after Williams aped in. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Williams Joined the BAYC on January 20th.
