SIMPLY BUILT DIFFERENT: BAYC Member And Notable Geez Moe Wins Spotlight Season 2!

When the lights were brightest, Bored Ape Yacht Club member and notable Geez On Ape, Moe, didn’t cry at the casino. He aped in, adapted his strategy, and proved he was simply built different, placing first in ApeCoin’s Spotlight Season 2!
After two weeks of bets, parlays, posts on X, and yes, even founders’ feet pics, the results are in, BAYC member Moe has officially won Spotlight Season 2, dubbed Simply Built Different with 4.4 million points!
“I am relieved that it over and feel good that I won,” Moe told the Gazette. “I wasn’t expecting it at all specially on the last couple 2 days when Ernest and I was flipping each other on 1st and 2nd place. It was a close call. Allo and Ernest both gave me a run of my money.”
For Moe, winning Spotlight wasn’t about a last second gamble. It came down to consistency, an adapting strategy, and some helpful tools and insight’s from ApeChain builder CryptoFrostyz’s ApeCTRL website.
“Every days I was remaking my strategy plans, buying few NFTs here and there to get max multipliers checking top 4 players daily points gains and using @CryptoFrostyz website tool to track my completion multipliers,” he said. “ What got me to the finish line was the 500 points quest that I saved for the last push on the last day and it worked.”
For finishing first, Moe will be getting "a suitcase full of $APE and a weekend you won’t forget in Las Vegas." He’s also been entered into 26 onchain raffles for placing in the top 100 where prizes range from a Bored Ape to a Mintotaur!
“I can’t wait to find out how much $ape is in that suitcase like everyone,” Moe said. “The mystery behind it is exciting and nervous at the same time, well played ApeChain team.”
Looking back on the two week season that focused on ApeChain builder 0xSimpleFarmer and his two dApps Clutch Markets and ApesPredict, Moe said he appreciated how the event balanced degenerate crypto culture with the chain’s NFT roots.
“Overall I think season 2 went well, I felt that the ApeChain team did a good job by putting focus on the Degen side of every crypto bro out there that wants to make quick Xs on they investments while having fun participating in a competition,” he said. “The memes coin, clutch market were both oriented towards attracting more new Degens to ApeChain. ApeChain was basically giving free money on some of those clutch market predictions quest but the parlays side was more complicated to win especially if one doesn’t know anything about parlay betting, overall it was like more risk more reward thing and that’s why we love crypto lol.”
Looking ahead, Moe told the Gazette that he’s eager to go for gold again in Spotlight Season 3, whenever it may be.
In the meantime, he shared some tips for players looking to rank higher next time around and also encouraged everyone to get involved in Otherside and help bring more eyes to $Ape during this intermission!
