Something smokey has been in the air around the swamp lately as Bored Ape Yacht Club member Racs has been handing out onchain J’s to Otherside frens; and all you got to to do to get one is ask!
Between Otherside Squid Games, Bathroom Blitz shootouts, and Meet at the Clubhouse spaces, sometimes you need to take the edge off. With that in mind, and to shine a light on the capabilities of Otherside as the metaverse expands, BAYC member Racs rolled up some digital blunts and started handing them out on Otherside earlier this week!
“The inspiration to create the blunts was specifically to incentivize voyagers to get to know and use otherside features as they are released and to test out cool things to do with those features,” he told the Gazette. “As more features are added to the otherside, the blunts become more gamified. “
Since rolling up for the first time on Tuesday, Racs has been so busy passing the blunt to frens old and new that he’s enlisted ApeChain’s Vai, NGBShpend, and GobsOnApe Founder James Hall to help him make the perfect blunt rotation around the swamp!
Looking ahead, Racs plans to fully gamify his blunts as Yuga Labs adds more features like minting, burning, and more into Otherside.
“Blunts are the first gamified NFTs tradable in the otherside,”he said. “Just a free to claim, deflationary relic that serve as a key to unlock an otherside treasure and gets voyagers using the new features.”
