Bored Ape Yacht Club member and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg was a recent guest on The Fucking Metaverse Podcast and the rapper definitely dropped it like it’s hot.
On December 16th, the BAYC co-founders released their latest episode of their new podcast series, The Fucking Metaverse, with guest Snoop Dogg, Champ Medici, and Nick Adler.
During the interview, Snoop Dogg explained what originally drew him to the BAYC and told the founders why he loves being a member of this community.
“It’s multicultural,” Snoop told Garga and Gordon Goner. “It’s people of all walks of life. It’s like a love fest. It’s no racism. It’s no patriotism. It’s just love. It’s just appreciation and its acceptance for your art and your creative value that you bring to the table. In the traditional world you deal with so much negative energy, you know, disrespect. You gotta look like this. You gotta be like that. Over here it’s like, your art speaks for you more than who you are speaks for you. It’s like your art is you.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Snoop Dogg joined the BAYC on December 21st, 2021 when he purchased Bored Ape #6723 along with the primate's corresponding M1 and M2 Mutant Apes. Snoop Dogg also purchased Bored Ape Kennel Club Dog #894.
