SOLANA SOON, BUT FIRST SPACES: ApeCoin Will Make Its Way To Solana Next Week As Part Of Project “RAID” And Is Hosting A Space On Monday To Explain What That Means!

From the heart of the swamp to the soul of the memecoin trenches, ApeCoin’s “Project RAID” begins next week as the token makes its way into the Solana ecosystem. But before the launch, the ApeCoin team will break down what it all means this Monday on Spaces!

Something Solana is coming soon as ApeCoin prepares to launch Project RAID, short for Rapid ApeCoin Integration Deployment, an initiative designed to get $Ape everywhere users are and transform the token into the Culture Coin!

The event will be hosted by ApeCoin’s Lost and The Grateful Show’s Grateful Ape, with special guests including Yuga Labs’ PP Man, Figge, and James Hall, along with ApeCoin CEO Cameron Kates, the token’s head of DeFi, 0xSimpleFarmer, and more!

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Project RAID aims to make $Ape accessible on every DEX and CEX, expand its presence across DeFi, establish it as a borrowable asset, and build a footprint in the perpetuals and options markets. And it all starts on Solana!

“The reason is simple,” 0xSimpleFarmer told the paper when asked about going to Sol earlier this week. “ June 2025: Solana matched the combined total of monthly active addresses across all other major L1 and L2 blockchains . This is the largest active userbase in crypto and I believe they will resonate with ApeCoin culture.”

 

As ApeCoin prepares to ape everywhere in the Web3 world, 0xSimpleFarmer explained that this expansion is made possible by LayerZero’s Omnifungible Token (OFT) standard, the same tech that allows NFTs like Bored Apes to live on Ethereum but still be recognized on ApeChain.

“Apecoin will be available on Solana because it will become what is called an Omnifungible token OFT standard,” he explained. “This allows us to bridge a portion of the supply to any chain and make it available for swaps, this will of course include pairing $ape with tons of $Sol at launch within our partnered Dex.”
