SOMETHING’S BREWING: BAYC Members And ApeChain Presto Minters Have Until 7 P.M. EST To Register For The Espresso Airdrop!

The Espresso Foundation’s crosschain airdrop is brewing around the swamp, but Bored Ape Yacht Club members and Presto minters must register their wallets before 7 P.M. EST to be eligible for the claim.

 

“Final reminder for ESP airdrop sign-up,” ApeCoin tweeted over the weekend. “BAYC holders qualify automatically once registered. ApeChain community members and those who minted our crosschain Presto demo with @espressoFNDN and  @RariChain are eligible too. Deadline: Sun, Feb 8, 7pm EST.”

 

 

At this time, the size and value of the airdrop are unknown. However, the Espresso team is preparing to launch its ESP token, which serves as infrastructure designed to help different blockchains communicate and verify transactions with each other in real time.

Simply put, Espresso allows users to interact across chains. As the Gazette previously reported, $Ape holders experienced this during the December 2025 activation, when collectors were able to mint NFTs on RARI using funds from ApeChain as if they were operating on a single network.
