Crack open another Jarritos and take a sip of an ice cold tease because the Chimpers just shared another post revealing there's more to its upcoming collaboration with the popular Mexican soda brand than just collectible cards.

On Sunday, Chimpers gave collectors everywhere a closer look at its upcoming drop with Jarritos dubbed the “Taco Dojo,” revealing that the collection is comprised of 26 unique collectible cards and features a number of prizes for lucky minters to pull.

“Almost time to catch some collectibles with @Jarritos,” the project tweeted along with a time lapsed illustration. Featuring a Chimp and a Grails are lurking beneath the surface... Launching Tuesday in partnership with @apecoin , exclusively on @opensea.”
While collectors still don't know everything Chimpers and Jarritos have planned for Tuesday, Chimpers Head of Strategy and Operations Ser Joey told the Gazette that the drop will be an experience.
“I use the term experience because it really is much more than a card drop,” he said. “It’s a production involving artwork, storytelling, animation, music, collectible packs, rewards, and a leaderboard, brought together through countless hours of planning and creation.”
This week's Chimpers x Jarritos drop will be the third collectible card experience these pixelated primates have released on ApeChain.
As the Gazette previously reported, Chimpers has a history of creating collectible card experiences, from Diamond Fleece in December 2024 to Rise of the Hybrids in November 2025.
“To us, it’s another high quality production in a long succession of collectible experiences we’ve launched,” Joey said. “Each one adds a little more culture, a little more value, and a little more depth to the Chimpers ecosystem . It’s this ethos that got us to where we are today, and that will take us to where we’re going. Excited to rip some packs next week.”
