SPOOKY, SCARY SURVIVAL GAME: Meebits Releases The NightShades "Nightpaper" Ahead Of Its September Launch On Robinhood Chain!

Pump in the night or dump in the dark?

This spooky season, the Meebits are teaming up with Clutch Markets for an onchain survival game where some spooky speculators’ bags will pump, while others’ holdings will be decimated by darkness every evening!

This weekend, the Meebits released the “nightpaper” for their new game, NightShades, which is coming to Robinhood Chain sometime this September!

 

The game features four factions, Ghosts, Zombies, Watchers, and Knights, each represented by its own token and pitted against the others in a randomized fight for survival!

“Every 24 hours, The Night falls,” Sergito wrote in the games whitepaper. “It strikes one or multiple factions at random. The struck factions' markets take a real price hit — and the capital claimed by The Night flows into the factions that survive.”

Simply put, some factions will be beneficiaries of the Night while others will be its victims.

And that’s just the beginning. After the Night strikes, the countdown to the next attack begins, and everyone is invited to buy up the decimated factions’ tokens in preparation for the next round of the game.

“The Night does not keep score,” Sergito said. “A struck faction stands in the next draw like everyone else — it can fall twice in a row, or survive and take the other side, receiving capital from that event while its token trades at a reduced price.”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Clutch Markets Founder 0xSimpleFarmer said that this randomness factor makes NightShades very different from traditional memecoin trading, giving everyone who participates a shot at winning big.

“We often trade on tokens that are manipulated that you don’t really have a good chance to win, but with these four tokens you’ll always have a 25% chance of a big green candle,” 0xSimpleFarmer said. “I think that the moments of the night will be great for marketing the event and I think it’s a new way of trading tokens which I think is exceptional.”

Tonight, we still do not know the exact tokenomics for NightShades, but we do know that each faction will represent a fourth of the total collection, with all four launching simultaneously via Clutch Markets’ Safe Launch 99% anti-sniper tax system. We also know that the majority of the NFTs will be given away through a free allowlist mint for Meebits and StonkBrokers.

“The remainder seeds the faction token markets through the AnvilAMM at launch, so the NFTs and the tokens go live together, paired from the first block,” Sergitio wrote.
