ApeFest 2025 was a movie for most, but for Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Roc Sol, it was a livestream.

The weekend after ApeFest was insane. Thousands of Bored Ape Yacht Club members aped into ComplexCon early, followed by 70,000 more attendees who checked out over 400 brand booths, including the Bored Ape Yacht Club and ApeCoin’s setup.

The Apes had one of the longest lines at the event, as they gave away merch from every era of the club, alongside vintage tees and brand-new co-branded pieces made in collaboration with Jae Tips, John Geiger, and Sean Wotherspoon.

As BAYC and ApeCoin made their presence known in Las Vegas, solidifying themselves in the streetwear and cultural scene, BAYC member Roc Sol took the culture online by hopping on the open mic during popular TikToker and Twitch streamer AriAtHOME’s livestream.

“I had been watching AriAtHome for a while and never thought I would ever bump into him to get on the stream,” Roc Sol said. “He’s from NY and I had no idea he would be at ComlexCon, so when I saw him I took the chance to do my thing.”

And do his thing he did. Roc Sol freestyled about his life in Miami and his desire to be an artist as he and Ari walked through ComplexCon with a crowd following IRL and thousands more watching online.

Rapping live on AriAtHOME’s stream wasn’t Roc Sol’s first musical endeavor. The artist, who’s best known around the swamp for his custom murals, has been rapping for years and has even released several BAYC inspired songs.

“For me, I've been making music and freestyling, performing for decades so it came natural for me to jump on the mic and know how to freestyle on the fly,” he said. “I have a few songs I've released throughout the years, I even made the song "Yacht All Day" which is a BAYC song I recorded for the club in 2021 with my producer Miami Beat Wave…. The latest song I've released is "Certified" that was released alongside my first Apechain project "Roc Sol Certified", so if you want to hear more music you can always check out my Spotify.”

At the end of his freestyle, Roc Sol shouted out the best club on the internet, said “Apes on Top,” and told the Gazette that he’s incredibly grateful to the BAYC for making this moment possible.

“I wouldn't have been at ComplexCon if it wasn't for the apes and attending Apefest so it’s another reason I'm just grateful to be in the club and the experiences that come with it,” he said.
