After BAYC member pb4ugo123, AKA Sammy, recently became a watch dealer, he realized many Apes enjoyed flaunting their Rolexes and APs on the timeline but lacked a dedicated space to make deals or connect with fellow watch aficionados.
“I noticed we don’t have a X group chat for us crypto and nft traders so I decided to start to one to help collectors gloat about what they own,” Sammy said. “Also so people can see available watches that dealers like me are listing.”
Since Sammy created the Apes and Watches community group chat earlier this month, 50 Apes have already joined, showcasing their pieces and seeking deals. Sammy also recently launched his Watches and Apes community on X, inviting everyone to join.
“Super excited today, he tweeted on Friday. “We got our blue check back We have our new watches community to post about sales and listings And the Twitter group chat for high end watch collectors is looking nice aswell I wanted to thank The @BoredApeYC community who worked together with me.”
