STAKE AND EGGS: OtherEggs’ First ApeChain Adventure, Secrets of the Primordial, Begins And You’re Invited to Ape In!

ApeChain’s OtherEggs holders are disrupting the balance of an age old force, and they have until the end of the month to offer up their Eggs and more to a Primordial Being in exchange for rewards!

Did you feel that? There’s been a shift in the expanded ApeChain ecosystem as Bored Ape Yacht Club member Moonlyght’s OtherEggs NFT collection launched its Secrets of the Primordial event, inviting users to stake their NFTs and earn rewards.

 

“ Welcome to Secrets of the Primordial, the first phase of our on-chain adventure,” Moonlyght wrote. “Prepare to make Offerings, earn OtherShards, and uncover the ancient forces that shape the world of OtherEgg Genesis…” An ancient being older than the worlds themselves, the Primordial exists to maintain cosmic balance. And you, overflowing with Awareness, threaten that balance.But the Primordial does not destroy you. Instead, it offers you a choice. You may redirect your Awareness through Offerings. In return, a rare and powerful essence may form: OtherShards — crystallized fragments of your overflowing Awareness. But not all energy can be contained. Some Offerings will be lost to the Void, claimed by forces that even the Primordial cannot always hold back. Yet in time, even those lost will return.”

 

 

Taking part in the Secrets of the Primordial event is straightforward. Head to the event’s website, connect your wallet, accept the Primordial’s offer to proceed, and stake your OtherEggs, Gobs On Ape, or Geez On Ape NFTs every 12 hours for a chance to earn an OtherShard.

“Every time you win an Offering, you’ll automatically mint an OtherShard, which will be sent to your wallet,” Moonlyght explained. “OtherShards are ERC-1155C NFTs that will play an important role in game progression down the line. In the near future, one of the first use cases for OtherShards will be redeeming them for Relics. Relics will be vital to progressing in the next phase of the game.”
