ApeChain, step right up because it’s time for another toss at the ApeChain Carnival after the intern gifted everyone who participated in the token’s latest NFT initiative Drink Drank Dunk yesterday a free item!
On Tuesday, the token took to the timeline sounding like a carny as it enticed Apes, Mutants, Voyagers, and more back to the dunk tank to try to send their favorite ApeChain Key Opinion Leaders swimming, and even gave everyone some free items to throw!
“For Day 2 we just airdropped everyone who connected to Drink Drank Dunk so far a random item from the Shop,” ApeCoin tweeted. “Go get 'em.”
Some community members were gifted a Rocket Launcher while others got bean bags. This reporter personally received a “Bag of ApeCoin” to toss, but still couldn’t send Garga swimming!
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Drink Drank Dunk is the latest onchain NFT initiative created by ApeCoin’s KingPickle and Ryan Smith.
To play, simply visit the website, connect your wallet, and select one of 12 frens to try and dunk, with difficulties ranging from easy to hard. But be warned,hard is pretty darn hard.
From there, players complete a series of reflex testing minigames where timing is everything. To sink someone, all you have to do is pause the ball at just the right moment and have a little luck on your side!
Like any good carnival game, ApeCoin has more balls and other objects available to chuck at KOLs, purchasable with its in game currency, Tickets, which cost 0.01 $Ape each.
Every throw earns players points on the individual and community leaderboards, and the prizes are definitely worth playing for!
“Top scoring Communities on the Leaderboard will earn the following sweeps from the intern: 1st - 10k APE 2nd - 5k APE 3rd - 3K APE Top 3 most successful dunkers (most dunks) on the Individual Leaderboard will win either a @GobsOnApe or a @GeezOnApe.”
