For the first time in two years, Tiffany& Co Executive Vice President and the son of one of the richest men in the world, Alexandre Arnault, is temporarily Punkless after selling his longtime profile photo for 161 Eth or $449,000 USD.

On Friday February 16th, Arnault, who made several posts throughout the week about selling CryptoPunk #3167, sold his pixelated PFP for 161 Eth or $449,000 USD to Wallet 0x0fA871F7F473f0606D496A6418490f853f76cF6D.

 

“Like with great art taste changes and after 2 years of identifying as a 3D I thought it was time to check for other attributes,” Arnault tweeted after the sale. “Punk forever. Going to give myself some time to find the new perfect match! And then we can have fun again and make great products.”

As Arnault takes time to find his next Punk, Wallet 0x0fA87 quickly moved Punk #3167 to their vault following the deal, according to transfer data.
