The Ape Assembly Is Electing A Spokesperson& Coordinator Tonight. Here's Who's Running& How To Vote

The window to vote for the ApeCoin DAO’s first Ape Assembly Spokesperson and Coordinator closes tonight at 11:59 P.M. EST!

After a condensed election season at the ApeCoin DAO, the Ape Assembly, a governing body of highly active governance participants within the ApeCoin Ecosystem that was established as part of AIP 239 and controls a monthly budget of $10,000 USD, will elect its first ever Spokesperson and Coordinator tonight.

The Ape Assembly Spokesperson will be the committee’s official representative and they will be responsible for collaborating with other Working Groups, ensuring transparency in the Ape Assembly, and reporting the committee’s activities to the Governance Working Group and the broader ApeCoin DAO. While the Ape Assembly’s Coordinator will be responsible for taking notes during Ape Assembly meetings, coordinating meeting times and agendas, and assisting the Spokesperson and other Ape Assembly members in their communication efforts, according to the DAO.

Both the Spokesperson and Coordinator roles will pay 420.69 $Ape per month and the office holders are expected to work 8-10 hours per week, according to Governance Working Group Steward TigerIsFine.
