The ApeCoin DAO Is Looking To Fund Several Meebit PropHouse Ideas Here's How To Apply:
If you’re a builder or artist, the ApeCoin DAO and the Meebits community wants you to submit your best idea to the Meebits PropHouse event!
After the ApeCoin DAO approved of a proposal to fund several $Ape microgrants for Meebit builders, Special Council Member Maaria Bajwa and the PropHouse team kicked off the first Meebits based PropHouse competition earlier this week.
“PropHouse serves as an auction of APE, where the bids are proposals,” Bajwa explained in her proposal that the DAO passed with 97% approval. “Rather than having the DAO vote yes/no on individual projects, PropHouse allows for a group of projects compete for a fixed grant size, with grants being awarded to the project(s) that receive the most votes. Prop House voters are typically NFT communities.”
Bajwa believes that funding these PropHouse microgrants is a great way for the ApeCoin DAO to expand outside the swamp!
“Encouraging other communities to build with ApeCoin proliferates our reach and introduces new communities to our ecosystem,” Bajwa wrote In her proposal. “PropHouse is a way for us to experiment with this hypothesis. We can fund micro-grant programs for various communities that want to build utility in gaming and the metaverse, but don’t have access to funding.”
The goal of the Meebits Prop House event is to “expand the functionality, community or awareness of Meebits,” the event’s website stated.
The deadline to submit an idea to the Meebits PropHouse event is November 23rd. So far, the competition has received five different ideas.
