The ApeCoin DAO's Working Group Zero Wants Your Input On Its Possible DAO Mission Statement

The ApeCoin DAO’s Working Group Zero is looking for community input on its new Mission statement for the DAO.

After many hours of discussion, a survey in five different languages, and “Mission Focus Group workshops,” WGO revealed a potential new ApeCoin DAO mission statement today:

“ApeCojn DAO exists to distribute $APE- empowering our community to build and participate in the future of the Greater Metaverse, today.”

Following the Mission Statement’s reveal, WGO went on to ask the community for its input and asked everyone to vote on three different wording polls.

“Our final workshop resulted in a mission statement crafted by our community that provides clear direction on what specifically it is we’re here to do as a DAO,” WGO wrote in the group’s community Google Doc about the Mission Statement. “It supports our vision of $APE serving as the decentralized protocol layer for community-led initiatives that drive culture forward into the metaverse. And it opens an ongoing conversation around what that culture represents as we empower our community to shape the future of the Greater Metaverse and everything it can become.”

The window to participate in WGO’s Mission Statement polls will close tomorrow morning at 9 A.M. EST, according to Twitter.

Further, Apes that are interested in getting involved at the DAO are welcome to join the WGO Discord sever and make their mark on $Ape!

“WG structure is in the conceptual phase, we want to develop this in public this month to do everything we can to make sure we have buy in and support on the version of the proposal that goes to vote,” Badteeth previously told the Gazette. “If you're an $APE holder who has occasionally thought you'd like to learn more about the DAO, there is literally no better time than this month to dig in, ask questions, and have a chance to help shape the future of ApeCoin DAO!”
