The BAYC Community Council Is Hosting A Twitter Space Tomorrow Night
The Bored Ape Community Council, a group of Bored Ape Yacht Club community members who are assisting Yuga Labs in shaping the future of the club, is hosting its first ever Twitter Space tomorrow night.
“Join the BAYC Council tomorrow at 8pm EST for our first ever live spaces,” the group tweeted. “Hosts: @TheMiamiApe @SeraStargirl @0xEthanDG @beijingdou @peterjfang.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC announced the creation of the community council on October 5th, 2022.
“Apes, we wouldn’t be where we are today without our incredible community,” the BAYC tweeted at the time. “We’re excited to announce the first BAYC community council made up of 7 long standing proactive community members to work alongside us moving forward. To help the community grow and thrive, we’ve assembled Apes with a proven track record of proactively and positively contributing to the club since the start. This council was formed with the intention of representing the club at large and providing an avenue for new perspectives.”
The seven bored apes that make up the first BAYC Community Council are Josh Ong, SeraStargirl, Laura Rod, 0xEthan, 0xWave, Negi, and Peter Fang.
The purpose of the community council is to collect feedback from community members and uplift community-driven initiatives and projects, according to Yuga Labs.
“Every Ape in our community has directly impacted our decision-making from day one,” Yuga Labs wrote. “This council, and future councils to come, puts a more formal, efficient and consistent process in place for Yuga leadership to get community feedback and advice on an ongoing basis.”
The Bored Ape Gazette will attend tomorrow night’s Space and will be live tweeting about it. Stay tuned for updates!
