The BAYC Donated $390K To Orangutan Outreach. Read How Orangutan Outreach Reacted To The Donation
The Bored Ape Yacht Club announced that they have made another donation of 169 ETH or $390,000 USD to Orangutan Outreach.
“Hey apes, it's that time again,” the BAYC tweeted. “We just donated 169 ETH (~390k USD) to charity! We sent this all to Orangutan Outreach - @redapes. We liked that they aped into the club.”
After the announcement, bored apes were quick to comment on just how much of an impact the BAYC is having on the real world.
“Unbelievable impact in such a short period of time,” BAYC member Accumul80r tweeted.
After Orangutan Outreach received the large donation from the BAYC, they quickly took to twitter to thank the BAYC.
“We've been hyperventilating since receiving this AWESOME donation,” Orangutan Outreach tweeted. “We have no idea how to thank you for this extreme generosity. We are truly grateful beyond words. Wow, just wow @BoredApeYC- YOU ARE AMAZING!”
In total, the BAYC has raised and donated over $700,000 USD to various animal charities. As The Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC pledged to donate all the royalties it received from its Bored Ape Kennel Club secondary sales.
