The BAYC Was Mentioned On This Mainstream News Website Today:

The Bored Ape Yacht Club was mentioned in Reuters for the first time today.


In an the article, Reuters reporter, Elizabeth Howcroft, goes over several major NFT projects that have contributed to the markets $2.5 billion USD sales volume year to date.


In the very last paragraph of the article, Howcroft mentions the BAYC.


“The Bored Ape Yacht Club, a set of 10,000 unique digital ape NFTs, has become a hit among collectors, she wrote. “The average ape sold on OpenSea as of July 1 for $3,600, up 1,574% from the launch price of $215 in April. Total sales have jumped to $61 million, according to the club's creators, U.S.-based Yuga Labs.”


While the average sale price of an ape is 1.74 Eth, according to Opensea. There are no apes priced that low today, and there hasn’t been in quite a while.


At the time of this articles publication, the cheapest listed Bored Ape is 2.9 Eth or roughly 6400 USD.
