"I’M ON TOP OF THE WORLD RIGHT NOW": BAYC Member Dev Wins A Mutant Ape At Other Games X ApeCoin Return to Monke Otherside Event!

Imagine winning an NFT worth nearly $5,000 just for hanging out with your friends from the best club on the internet on a Saturday afternoon. Well, that’s exactly what just happened to Dev!

Over the weekend, the Other Games crew celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Bored Ape Yacht Club by hosting its Return to Monke event on the Otherside. But instead of just handing out some $APE to their frens around the swamp, they teamed up with ApeCoin to give away an insane pink fur Mutant Ape to one lucky attendee!

 

Among the hundreds of frens who came out to play was BAYC member and OSPhotoClub founder Dev, who’s become a bit of an Other Games regular, showing up almost every week.

Dev just came to hang out, snap some photos around the swamp, and celebrate the club he loves. Little did he know he was just days away from walking away with a massive prize.

 

Then this afternoon, the Other Games team hosted a MAYC Raffle show on X, revealing that Dev was the weekend’s big winner!

“Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner,” Other Games Co-Founder HoneyB said after randomly pulling Dev’s name. “congratulations”

 

 

 

“I'M ON TOP OF THE WORLD RIGHT NOW,” Dev tweeted after the win. “I literally shook when the news hit me! I didn’t even know this feeling existed before I experienced it. I dreamt about being an ape for a long time, and when I finally managed to become one in July, it felt like I came home to my people. And damn, I couldn’t have been more right. Since then, everything has been magical. I found myself drowning in creativity, surrounded by incredible people whose vision expanded mine, and that vision changed my life. I find myself enjoying life more and more every day. And today, I learned that I won this GORGEOUS ape. I can’t imagine a more euphoric feeling. I’m going to keep her forever.
