The BAYC X The Hundreds Collab Is Coming August 21st, What We Know So Far:

Streetwear brand The Hundreds released new information today regarding the brands upcoming collaboration with the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

“The time has come...,”The Hundreds tweeted from its official Twitter account. “The Hundreds X @BoredApeYC is coming this Saturday, August 21st.”

The tweet was accompanied by two images that combined BAYC and The Hundreds logos together.

At the time of this articles publication, there has been no information regarding what kinds of items will be for sale on August 21st. But over the past week, The Hundred Co-Founder, Bobby Hundreds, has teased an image of a BAYC rug on Discord and a BAYC magnet on Twitter, as the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported.

After the announcement, BAYC member, Justin Taylor, asked Hundreds whether or not this release will be an ape exclusive. Hundreds simply replied “YES.” This is the second time Hundreds has answered a question regarding who can purchase the drop this way, as the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported.

Collaborating with the BAYC is all a part of Hundreds vision to bridge the real world with the Metaverse.

“Before we take physical clothing to the metaverse, we bring the metaverse to streetwear,” Hundreds tweeted. “@thehundreds is collaborating with @BoredApeYC. This is the next step in blurring the line between this side and the other. The Street Does Not Really Exist…”
