On Wednesday, the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s merch sale with McBees and The Dudes began.
“Heads up Apes,” the club tweeted at 12 P.M. Est on Wednesday. “The BAYC x @McBess x @Dudesfactory sale is live and can only be accessed at https://store.boredapeyachtclub.com. Only a gasless signature to verify ape ownership will be required to access the drop. For questions or assistance please head over to the official BAYC discord. We will never DM you first, ask for sensitive information, or require a gas signature to access merch.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC announced that it teamed up with The McBees and The Dudes to release a new line of monochromatic merch!
“If you saw the sneak peek at ApeFest, then you’ve probably been just as excited as we’ve been for this," Yuga Labs wrote in a blog post on October 26th. “The Bored Ape Yacht Club, The Dudes, and McBess come together for a merch collab just for apes. We’re longtime fans of the monochromatic, surrealist worlds McBess creates in his illustrations and The Dudes clothing label, so we’re psyched to see BAYC brought to life in his signature style."
Bored Ape and Mutant Ape holders will have until Wednesday November 2nd to purchase their merch sets AKA their McCapsules.
“The BAYC x McBess x The Dudes collab is made up of two sets of items curated by McBess as two distinct capsule collections,” the BAYC wrote on its FAQ page. “Hence, McCapsule. The items in each McCapsule are only available as a set — no individual items will be sold, and you cannot swap items between sets.”
The first of the two “McCapsules” is the small version that includes Skull and Fish Tee, a 50cm x 70cm art print individually numbered, stickers, and an enamel pin. This option will cost the ApeCoin equivalent of $175 USD.
The second McCapsule for sale next week is the large version that includes a denim jacket, a patch set, an enamel pin, the Boat Tee, a 110cm x 75cm art print individually numbered. This option will cost the ApeCoin equivalent of $500 USD.
