The Bored Ape Yacht Club Leaked A Photo Of The Club On Twitter,Here's What Apes Think Is Coming Next
After an insane Monday, the Bored Ape Yacht Club released an animated image of the BAYC on Twitter.
“Gordo asleep. V posts leaks,” the Yuga Labs CEO VStrange likes tweeted from the club’s main account along with an animated photo of the club.
The image is an ariel view of the BAYC. Following the post, BAYC Members have been dissecting the image and looking for possible clues about what’s to come.
Some key points that apes are focusing in on are the banana cart on the right, presumably Curtis fishing off the dock and the fact that there is no dog next to Curtis.
While the “leak” did not specify what exactly we are looking at, some apes are wondering if it may have to do with Jimmy the monkey. “Where is Jimmy," asked BAYC member Jacopo Lanza.
If this leak does have to do with Jimmy the monkey, this would make sense based on Roadmap 2.0. So far, the BAYC has completed the ape fest and mobile game competition roadmap points. The next roadmap objective is the “Trial of Jimmy the Monkey (MD vs. MMI: Prolouge).”
While some think this many have to do with Jimmy the Monkey, others believe this could be a part of the BAYC and MAYC 3D models that the club has been working on for months.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, The BAYC previously confirmed that apes would receive 3D models prior to Roadmap 2.0’s release as part of the roadmaps tease. “Every single Bored Ape and Mutant ape will receive a free, fully rendered and rigged 3Dmodel that they can use in the metaverse,” Gargamel posted in the Discord Announcement section on 8/29. “We’re working with Polygonal Mind to accomplish this, and given the sheer number of traits, it’s going to take a few months, but we’re really excited. Attached are some work-in-progress renders.”
Another possible theory regarding the leaked image is that it has to do with the animated Curits the ape image that the club released a few weeks ago.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC released a Medium article that contained an animated image of a surprised looking Curtis.
“P.S. — The header image for this post? That’s something else… Can’t talk about that, Gordo will get mad,” the club wrote in the post.
While it is unknown what the animated club image is in regards to, one thing is for sure, the remainder of Q1 is going to be insane.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow this story and let you know when more information becomes avaible.
