POWERING UP: HV-MTL’s EV02 Art Upgrade And Pets Collection Drop This Friday, According To Co-Owner Gabe

The gears are turning and metal is clanking across Web3 as HVs assemble their Amps and prepare for the project’s highly anticipated EV02 art upgrade and Pets launch coming this week!

“We are launching Evo2 + Pets on Friday,” the collection’s co-owner Gabe announced on Discord yesterday afternoon.

 

 

This move comes six months after Gabe and fellow co-owner Adam Weitsman acquired the HV-MTL collection from Faraway Gaming Studios in September 2025 with the promise of rebooting the bots.

“Our mission is to build a lasting legacy not only for Digital Art but also to help people use and experience this amazing technology,” Weitsman tweeted at the time.

 

  

In the months since, the duo has worked to deliver on that promise.

Now, with the release of the long awaited EV02 art upgrade and the launch of a new secondary collection called Pets, the pair is set to take that next step!

Tonight, we do not know everything that Weitsman and Gabe have planned for this week’s EV02 art upgrade and Pets drop, but we do know that HV-MTL holders will need to have reactivated their bots and hold six Amps in order to upgrade them to their next form.

We also know that upgrading isn’t the only option!

HV holders who do not have enough Amps,  or who do not want to see their bots evolve, can instead burn their HV-MTL in exchange for a new Pets NFT. These HV-MTL Pets will be the HV-MTL project’s secondary collection, similar to Mutant Apes or Lil Pudgys, accoridng to the team.
