The Bored Ape Yacht Club Sent Members An Email Asking To Confirm Their Address and Contact Info

The Bored Ape Yacht Club sent an email to some members today that asked them to confirm their shipping information and provide their contact information to receive their prizes from the Apes Vs. Mutants Mobile Game Competition.

“Attention Apes,” the BAYC tweeted this afternoon. “An email was sent prior to this tweet going live to the members who have not confirmed their shipping and contact info for the Apes vs Mutants competition prizes. Please note that a phone number is needed for the shipping service to use when reaching out with updates. This does not need to be a cell phone number, Google voice number or otherwise will work as long as you have access to it.”

The BAYC went on to write those users who do not confirm their shipping information, or their contact info will have their prizes sent to the address that they provided to the club during the mobile game competition in January.

“If no response is received, we’ll send the prize to the address provided during the initial game registration," the BAYC tweeted. “If you have confirmed your contact information but have not received a shipping email we ask that you please be patient with us as these orders are going out in batches.”

The BAYC ended its Twitter thread by reminding apes that the club will NEVER ask members to sign a gas signature or ask for their seed phrase.

“The email sent is ONLY asking for your phone number and shipping address. We will never require a gas signature and never ask you for your seed phrase in support emails. If you have any questions or concerns, please head over to the BAYC discord http://discord.gg/bayc,” the club tweeted.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC has begun shipping Apes and Mutants their prizes from the Mobile Game competition that took place in January 2022.
