From the trading floor to the mines, Clutch Markets is giving Robinhood Chain users something entirely new to dig into.

Late Tuesday evening, Clutch Markets quietly launched the first ever Special Project on its Stonk Launcher, dubbed $DERP, a proof of work protocol built by prolific ApeChain developer and Not A Punks Cult founder Uncle Mac that will allow users to mine verifiable entropy AKA randomness, which can be used to create secure, unpredictable outcomes onchain.
“Derp is a new technology utilizing proof of work mining on Robinhood Chain to create entropy (VRNG),” Clutch Markets wrote in the project’s bio. “The more entropy users mine and requesters buy, the more the merchant pays for your DERP.”

The idea for $DERP and its upcoming mining platform, StonkPit, came from solving a problem on Robinhood Chain, Uncle Mac said.
"Robinhood Chain has no VRNG providers, and the chain is built to be highly deterministic, so anything you try to do with their blockchain results in numbers you can predict easily," he explained.
To solve that problem, Uncle Mac is built a platform where users can mine entropy and eventually sell it to developers building games of chance and other applications on Robinhood Chain that rely on verifiable randomness.
According to Uncle Mac, both activated StonkBrokers on Robinhood Chain and bridged MineBoys from ApeChain will soon be able to head into the StonkPit, begin mining entropy with the click of a button, and eventually sell what they produce onchain.
