THE KING OF NFTS IS BAYC: BAYC Manager Guy Oseary Is ‘Cooking’ Around the Swamp, According to IllaDaProducer.

A familiar face is back at the Bored Ape Yacht Club, and he’s “cooking,” according to Yuga Labs’ Community and Partnerships Lead, IllaDaProducer!

Things were anything but boring on this week’s episode of Meet At The Clubhouse when Illa dropped some major alpha: the BAYC’s longtime talent rep, Guy Oseary, is back around the swamp.

“He’s back doing some cooking, but that’s all I can say about that” Illa said while reminiscing on Oseary bringing into the fold at Yuga Labs. “he back doing some cooking…Some things, man. At the end of the day  just know that we never stopped cooking. Bear market, Bull market, we have always been shipping, whether people liked it or not. Sometimes it’s a win and sometimes it’s a miss. But the great thing is you always learn something… So we are always cooking and Guy’s somebody who was so busy with Madonna and Chris Rock. You know Madonna went on a world tour, so Guy can’t manage both of these things, it’s a very demanding job. But now she’s back chilling, so you know, he's back doing some cooking. That’s all I can say.”

 

For those unfamiliar with Oseary, he’s a powerhouse talent agent who manages stars like Madonna, Amy Schumer, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Variety even crowned him the “King of NFTs” back in 2022.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Oseary has been a staple  around the swamp since the early days of the BAYC. In October 2021, Yuga Labs officially signed a deal with him to represent the company.

“Many people still have not heard of Yuga, yet they are one of the highest-grossing talents of the year from any artform, including music and film,” Oseary said in a press release at the time. “They are originals, empowering their community of NFT holders by giving them IP rights to their purchased ape, and continually creating ways to add benefits and utility to the purchased artwork. The Apes at Yuga Labs and I have a lot of exciting initiatives for the community and we look forward to sharing them soon.”

 

While it’s unclear what Oseary is building behind the scenes, we do know he’s remained a BAYC bull through thick and thin.
