The Mutant Hounds Will Be Released Tomorrow Find Out When You Can Mint Your Pup:
Updated: Dec 13, 2022
The NFT community at large is ready for an insane week as the Mutant Cartel prepares to release the Mutant Hounds.
On Tuesday, the Mutant Hounds project took to Twitter and announced that the first round of the projects multi-round mint will begin tomorrow morning at 8 A.M. EST.
“Start the journey toward meeting your Hound by minting a Collar,” the project tweeted. “Opening first on December 14th at 8 AM EST for Genesis Oath holders. Stage 1 is initiated by entering the Hound Lair only at https://mutantdao.com/mutant-hounds-lair… and following the prompts.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Mutant Hounds project will be minted in a two-part process.
The first part will be a staggered mint for a Mutant Hound Collar. During this first part, Genesis Oath holders, MAYC, BAYC, BAKC, and the public will each have 24 hours to mint a collar. In total, 10,000 Mutant Hound collars are up for grabs!
Take a look when each Yuga Labs collection, and general the public, will be invited to mint a collar below:
The second part of the Mutant Hounds mint will be a burning process where holders will burn their collars for an insane dog.
Genesis Oath holders will pay .11 Eth for a collar while everyone else will pay .25 Eth, or the equivalent of .25 Eth in ApeCoin, for a collar, according to the Mutants Hounds project.
Mutant Cartel Founder and creator of the Mutant Hounds project, Lior.Eth, previously told the Bored Ape Gazette that the goal of this project is to expand the lore of the Yuga Labs ecosystem.
“This entire collection is dedicated to the Apes,” Lior.Eth said. “Mutants first, but we're creating the Hounds to expand the entire BAYC universe. The community should expect one of the coolest mints of the last few months. We've been working super hard on it, and we're excited to finally start the journey.”
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the Mutant Hounds project and will keep you posted on the project’s mint. Stay tuned for updates!
