On Tuesday, Robinhood expanded its recently launched blockchain by adding more than 100 additional tokenized stocks, including SPDR Gold Shares AKA GLD, one of the world's largest ETFs designed to track the price of physical gold bullion. This means crypto traders can now gain exposure to gold onchain!

Shortly after the news broke, Clutch Markets founder 0xSimpleFarmer announced that StonkBrokers would now be picking up their pickaxes and earning tokenized gold with every Clock In.

As the Gazette previously reported, Clutch Markets' StonkBrokers are a new collection on Robinhood Chain whose NFTs each have their own token bound wallet and are tied to a fungible token called $STONKBROKER through Clutch Markets' Anvil technology. Rather than acting as just another collectible, every StonkBroker is designed to hold tokenized stocks inside its own wallet.

 

After activating a StonkBroker for a small fee, collectors become eligible to receive tokenized stock distributions funded through the collection's marketplace royalties and other ecosystem flywheels.

With the addition of Gold, activated StonkBrokers are now earning tokenized shares of Apple, Amazon, Google, Nvidia, SpaceX, Silver, U.S. Oil, and now Gold with every Clock In.
