These 4 DAO Contributors Were Elected As Stewards Of Working Group 0. Here's What You Need To Know:

The ApeCoin DAO elected four Stewards to lead Working Group Zero earlier this week.

The ApeCoin DAO has been anything but boring recently as the community passed AIP-196 titled “Bringing Order and Reliability via Ecosystem Decentralization,” earlier this month and established Working Group Zero.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the goal of Working Group Zero is to bring engaged DAO contributors and stakeholders together to find a path forward for the DAO before the Cartan Group’s administrative contract with the DAO expires on February 28th. Over the next month and a half, Working Group Zero members will work to create and recommend possible post-Cartan Group transition plans to the Special Council. The Group will also oversee a Request for Proposal process to identify possible future APE Foundation administrators.

On Wednesday, the ApeCoin DAO elected Halina.Eth, HodlrCollective, Red Vulkan, and Badteeth to represent the community as Stewards of Working Group Zero.

These four DAO Contributors will work alongside the three Special Council appointed Stewards (Adventurous Ape, Amplify, and Wabaam) to lead the newly formed Working Group Zero.

All seven of these Stewards will be responsible for “1. Administrative oversight 2. Budgeting based on the needs of WG0 as approved by the Special Council 3. Reporting on all WG0 activities between the Special Council, the Administrators, and the Community,” according to AIP-196

Following their election, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to the four newly elected members to find out more about their plans for the DAO going forward. See what each of them said below:

Red Vulkan: “I’m extremely honored to have been selected by the community as one of the WG0 Stewards. It’s an amazing group we have assembled. It’s such an exciting and critical time for the DAO. We need to find a new DAO administrator to take over some of the tasks Cartan was previously fulfilling and transfer the remaining tasks to the community. WG0 will be full of amazing ideas over the next several months. One important role of the Stewards will be to filter out discussions around these ideas and turn them into action items while helping keep the entire group aligned and working towards common goals. There’s also an opportunity to enhance the processes and structure laid out in AIP-1 and develop objectives and guidelines for future working groups. There’s a lot to be done but I’m excited to work on these with the community. It’s up to us to make the changes and improvements we we want to see. Let’s get to work.”

Halina: “I’m so excited to be with this great team!! As Steward I’m focused on expanding communications through different mediums and connecting with our international members, as well as putting a process in place for members to be featured on the official Twitter & social media pages! $APE community can expect continued updates from the core Operations, Governance, and Communications focus groups, as well as fun opportunities in groups such as IRL events, mission, and technology “

BadTeeth: "I'm excited to be hands on as we fulfill the promise of AIP-196. Working with the ApeCoin community to not only get through the Cartan transition but put forth a proposal in the end of March that will operationalize the DAO around a clear mission and purpose. The ApeCoin DAO community has the talent, brainpower, and treasury to literally accomplish almost anything. With our stakeholders aligned around a clear mission I believe we will make meaningful contributions to the Web3 landscape and change our world for the better!”

HodlrCollective: The Bored Ape Gazette did not hear back from HodlrCollective by the time of this article’s publication for a quote. The Gazette will update the Article when he replies!
