THINGS ARE REALLY PICKING UP: Pudgy Penguins Claw Machines Are Now In 68 Urban Air Locations Across The USA!

Pudgy Penguins crane games are really picking up!

On Saturday, the brand’s Head of Partnerships Steve Starobinsky took to the timeline with an update on Pudgy Penguins’ waddle into indoor adventure park chain Urban Air, revealing that its claw machines are now in 68 locations across 27 states, with dozens more on the way!

“Since launching in Urban Air locations, we’ve grown to 68 claw machines across 27 states, with 45 more on the way and roughly 114 locations expected by year-end! Where should we go next?”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, getting these claw machines into Urban Air was no small feat. Pudgy Penguins first showed off the cute machines in March 2025, teasing that they were “coming soon to an arcade near you.”

After that, the team brought its Pengu prototypes filled with plushies to the Urban Air convention in May 2025, where the company embraced the huddle!

Then, in February of this year, it was officially announced that the claw machines were waddling into select Urban Air locations across the USA!

 

The 68 Claw machines out in the wild and the dozens more on the way are not only revenue generators for the brand but also IRL billboards introducing Pudgy Penguins to people outside of crypto.

 

“On average an @UrbanAirPark location gets 10k people a week,” Pudgy Starobinsky tweeted in February. “These claw machines are equal part billboard & revenue driver.”
