An anonymous user made a waves at the Bored Ape Yacht Club earlier today after purchasing their first ape for 240 Eth.

BAYC member and wallet 3CE310 purchased Bored Ape #7392 from BAYC collector DFarmer for 240 Eth or $295,000 USD.

Bored Ape #7392 is a six-trait black fur ape with scumbag eyes, an Admirals coat and a gold grin mouth. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #7392 is the 999th most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.

“Thanks all,” DFarmer tweeted after selling Bored Ape #7392. “I know people say this a lot, but this one really is bittersweet. For grails, liquidity is thin, so you kinda take it when it comes properly bid, and couldn’t pass almost 3x floor, but honestly this is a top 10 monke for apesthetics. Grats to the buyer.”

While we do not know much about the new owner of Bored Ape #7392, we do know that they moved a lot of Eth two months ago from an exchange and that they tried to purchase a CryptoPunk before joining the BAYC.

Prior purchasing Bored Ape #7392 from DFarmer, wallet 3CE310 moved 243 Eth from Kucoin and tried to purchase a CryptoPunk, according to Etherscan.
