This Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Bought One Of The Rarest Mutant Apes For $85K USD Yesterday.

Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Mad-Max went insane yesterday and aped into one of the rarest Mutant Apes in the Mutant Ape Yacht Club collection!

On Tuesday, BAYC member Mad-Max.Eth purchased Mutant Ape #11057 for 45 Eth or $85,900 USD.

Mutant Ape #11057 is seven trait M2 gold fur Mutant Ape with a black hole’s tee, a gold stud earring, and a short mohawk. Based on these traits, Mutant Ape #11057 is the 122nd most insane Mutant Ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“Bears make opportunities,” Mad-Max tweeted after his purchase. “Welcome home MAYC #11057 @BoredApeYC.”

Following his purchase, Mad-Max told the Gazette that he aped into this insane gold fur primate because he believes that 2023 will be a big year for the BAYC’s parent company, Yuga Labs.

“I believe early 2021 NFT's were generally hyped. But 2023 time for Yuga Labs to shine,” he explained. “I am gamer myself and I own computer gaming center. With coming otherside I believe Yuga Labs will reach incredible numbers as $ and attract best pro gamers into NFTs worldwide. So, it is an investment for me.”

Along with Mutant Ape #11057, Mad Max also holds Bored Ape #279 and Mutant Ape #7629.
