This Crypto Firm Purchased An Elephant Meebit After Yuga Labs Teased Utility For The Project

After seeing Yuga Labs recent Meebits tweets, Crypto Firm “Wave Financial” decided to ape into an elephant type Meebit.

Yesterday afternoon, Wave Financial purchased Meebit #16651 for 20 Eth or $34,000 USD.

Meebit #16651 is a nine-trait elephant type Meebit with Elvis glasses and a windbreaker jacket. Based on these traits, Meebit #116651 is the 5111th most rare, according to Rarity Tools.

We saw a motivated /noodle handed seller so we placed some stink bids to see if they would bite, “John Caldwell of Wave Financial told the Bored Ape Gazette. “We saw the seller reject an 18eth offer so we knew we probably had to buy at 20. After discussing and seeing the meebits "on button" announcement, it was enough to get us to pull the trigger. Happy we did because a few other high end (skeleton, pigs) were bought soon after.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs Yuga Labs teased upcoming utility for Meebits and said that the company will be taking a 5% royalty on the projects sales going forward in a six-part Twitter thread.
