This anonymous Bored Ape Yacht Club collector is dressed to the nines this weekend after purchasing a suited up bored ape.
BAYC member Consecrate purchased Bored Ape #2306 from notable BAYC collector NFTPres for 300 Eth or $350,000 USD earlier today.
Bored Ape #2306 is a six-trait black fur ape with a black suit and a silver hoop earring. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #2306 is the 2719th most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.
The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to NFTPres after the sale but did not immediately hear back from him.
While we do not know what NFTPres or Consecrate have planned going forward, many BAYC members believe that Bored Ape #2306 has a bright future in branding and advertisement.
“This ape is so clean,” Bored Gentleman Ape tweeted. “It has huge potential for all kinds of deals.”
After today’s purchase Consecrate now appears to own two different suited up Bored Apes, according to Opensea data.
Consecrate also appears to be the owner of wallet 0x3B17fa32534395526A6DFc494aC440247FD6d480 AKA Co-Vault, based on transfer activity between the two wallets.
Bored Ape #5555 is held within the Co-Vault wallet. Bored Ape #5555 is a seven-trait dark brown fur primate with a black suit, a silver hoop earring and a bored unshaven cigarette mouth. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #5555 is the 1136th most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools. Currently, Bored Ape #5555 is listed for 300 Eth.
