Bored Ape #7698 is a seven trait brown fur ape with a leather punk jacket and a king’s crown. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #7698 is the 1272, most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“The price of royalty jus went up,” BAYC member and fellow king crown ape King BlackBored tweeted after the sale.

While not much is known about the buyer of Bored Ape #7698, we do know that this is the user’s first NFT in this wallet, according to Opensea data. Prior to purchasing Bored Ape #7698, Pi7777 tried to purchase another king crown ape for 50 Eth.

Pi7777 originally moved their crypto to this wallet from a Huobi exchange account, according to Etherscan.

After the purchase, Pi7777 relished Bored Ape #7698 for 500 Eth.
