METAVERSE MOGUL: BAYC Member Adam Weitsman Becomes The Fourth Largest Otherdeed Holder After Acquiring Zymerce’s 1,402 Plot Portfolio OTC!

The Otherside metaverse has a new mogul this evening after notable Bored Ape Yacht Club member and entrepreneur Adam Weitsman purchased the fourth largest Otherdeed collection in the world!

Mutant Monday was insane on the Otherside after Weitsman announced that he had made an over-the-counter deal to acquire longtime BAYC member Zymerce’s 1,402-plot Otherdeed real estate portfolio for an undisclosed amount.

"Happy to acquire the @zymerce collection of 1402 Otherdeeds for Otherside,” Weitsman tweeted. “I’m a long term holder in this space and believe in Yuga more than ever. My commitment does not waiver…. Thank you to the seller for a flawless transaction.”

 

 

 

Today’s Otherdeed portfolio purchase is just the latest in a series of massive acquisitions and buyouts that Weitsman has made around the swamp and the broader Yugaverse over the last five months.

Back in December 2024, Weitsman acquired a Mega Koda and a Chaos Otherdeed directly from Yuga Labs. In February, he purchased 103 HV-MTLs from Web3 gamer HashTagRemy. Then in March, he made headlines again after acquiring four Mega Mutant Apes from Applied Primate founder PTM.

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Weitsman has been extremely bullish on Faraway and Yuga Labs for years. He even met with both teams last summer and said he couldn’t wait to see what they do next.

“Went into this weekend’s meetings with Alex and Dennis from @farawaygg& @CryptoGargafrom @BoredApeYC @yugalabswith skepticism, but an open mind," Weitsman tweeted at the time. "I left feeling the HIGHEST level of confidence and trust after speaking with them. Epic things ahead. These guys are the real deal!”

 

 

Following today’s deal, Weitsman now holds five of the 13 Mega Mutant Apes, three Bored Apes, one additional Mutant Ape, a Meebit, three Mega Kodas, 1,404 Otherdeeds, three Bored Ape Kennel Club pups, the Golden Key from Dookey Dash, 499 HV-MTLs, and a CryptoPunk.

At this time, it’s unclear what Weitsman will do next, but he has said that his sights are set on possibly purchasing, and chugging, the last unopened Mega Mutant Ape serum and revealing the insane primate live at ApeFest 2025.
