Crypto artist AnnieRawrz draws inspiration from both the web2 and web3 realms as she creates a mascot for the ApeCoin DAO and would now appreciate your input on her designs!
ApeCoin DAO contributor AnnieRawrz has been going $Ape on creating a mascot for the ApeCoin DAO ever since the community commissioned her last month, following the approval of Ape Improvement Proposal 289.
Since that time, AnnieRawrz told the Gazette that she’s been searching Pinterest for inspiration and looking for community feedback.
“I like to browse through Pinterest for ideas actually. Every artist has their source of inspiration and I'm probably the biggest Pinterest addict haha as soon as I found elements that I liked, I tried to translate them into the rough body shape of Apekin and kinda went from there.
On Monday, AnnieRawrz took to Twitter and shared a series of arms, torsos, and legs for her Apekin mascot design and asked the community for their input!
“I think these are a good variety of different shapes and make great options to choose from,” she said. “I will take the community's favorite concepts into account when I get to the final design of Apekin. The look of the head will depend on the overall shapes and elements. I wanted to leave that part open as part of my creative freedom as the artist.”
