TOKEN TIME: You Can Now Send ERC-20 Tokens To Your Frens On Otherside, According To Yuga Labs' James Hall!

On Wednesday’s we wear pink and on Monday’s Apes launch products!

The week was off to an insane start around the swamp yesterday after Yuga Labs’ Head of Engineering, James Hall, announced that everyone can now send ERC-20 tokens to their in game frens on Otherside!

“Monday are for pushing to Prod,” Hall tweeted. “Now send other ERC20s to your friends, in Otherside* * remember to send it to your Glyph wallet first You can view your token balance in the Inventory tab, there's a NFTS/Tokens toggle now.”

 

 

After the post, BAYC member and Otherside mogul BreadStacker tweeted that he thinks this new feature will change the way memecoins are distributed on ApeChain and get tokens into the hands of truly diamond handed $Apes!

“Actually, a solid feature bc is the start of what could be new memecoins getting organic distribution literally just from engaging with people in Otherside, he said.

 

ApeChain’s native memecoin launchpad, Ape Express, echoed BreadStacker’s sentiment, tweeting that this new feature could change the way $Apes and Apes interact in the trenches.

“An amazing feature just dropped in the @OthersideMeta: you can now send select ApeChain ERC-20 tokens directly from user to user inside the Otherside,” the dApp wrote. “Feels a bit like a proud papa watching tokens get traded in the swamp. From there, find and interact with a fren, click “F”, and then select a token in your Inventory tab to send them!
